23/09 The Emico Challenge:On the weekend of 24th / 25th October Emico staff will travel to Brecon Beacon National Park s to carry out a 2-day 25 mile charity walk. The walk will incorporate Pen-Y-Fan which at 2907ft is the highest peak both in Brecon Beacon and in South Wales. 07/09 East London Line: Emico have secured the mechanical and electrical works at 4 stations on the East London Line 01/09 Under the Metronet framework agreement Emico have been appointed as the successful contractor for the cable management system for the track to train CCTV OPO at Croxley together with the containment at 4 No adjacent stations on the Metropolitan Line. This is a fast track project that enables the wiring and commissioning of CCTV cameras, beacons and transmitters on the stations. 08/08 Paul Burnett Joins Emico as Construction Supervsior. 10/07 John Lewis Food Hall: Emico successfully carried out the services installation on this high profile fast track project to facilitate the opening of John Lewis Partnership�s first ever food hall in its Oxford Street store as part of the £61.5 million refurbishment to enhance the shopping experience at its flagship store. 09/07 Matt Cunningham joins Emico as a Senior Project manager from Metronet. After 4 years with Metronet Matt brings valuable LUL experience to Emico to enhance and expand our London Underground profile. 07/07 Tom Gaffney appointed Director: We are delighted that Tom has accepted the position on the board as Construction Director. Tom is the longest serving member of staff has the right credentials to improve construction methods and efficiency whilst maintaining the quality Emico�s clients require. 06/07 Emico land Olympic Contract: Emico have been awarded the prestigious Stratford Station Upgrade by Hochtief UK Ltd. This 3-year project involves new power supplies, de-cluttering of platforms, enhanced disabled access, re-opening of the disused eastern subway as well and new lighting throughout the station. Stratford Station will be the focal station for the Olympics Games and therefore there is a big ODA involvement on this project. |
