A Section 12 station where the installation was hampered by the fact that there is no escalator at Tufnell Park Station. Therefore all plant and materials had to be carried down the spiral stairs or transported via the lift.

Working for YJLi we installed new multi-compartment trunking as cable management system (CMS) throughout the station from the Ticket Hall to the lower station via the ventilation shaft and spiral stairs. CMS was also installed along the lower passages and both platforms. In all public areas light fittings were fitted to the underside of the CMS and the entire system is fitted with an architectural cover.

Additionally lighting and power was provided to the platform inverts, ventilation shaft, spiral stairs, roof and all back of house rooms.

Mechanical services (air conditioning, comfort cooling and general plumbing) were provided to staff areas, the Computer Equipment Room as well as replacement of submersible pumps, control panel and drainage pipework to the vent shaft sump rising up the spiral stairs.
